Making Time for the Things that Matter

So I finally got off my lazy ass to make my own cut of my Nothing Else Matters video 💁🏻‍♀️This was TWO years in the making. The video was filmed in 2018 and my collaborator Fitriyandi, got his cut out way long ago. His video already has 20k views at this time. Me? I just kept putting off because I didn't "have the time for it." 🙄I'm pretty sure that in that 2 years I probably had some time somewhere to make that cut. But I didn't. So why now? Because I have endless amounts of time in quarantine? 🧐

Not really. I just made time for it 🕰Often we get caught in this slew of busy-ness where we have something else more important, or we don't have "enough time." Everyone has limited hours of time in their day. ⏳How can one person be achieving so much more than another with the same amount of time in a day? 🧗🏻‍♀️

If I had truly wanted to cut this video a long time ago, I would have. But I didn't, because I thought, well it's gonna take a long time. Additionally, my collaborator already did a cut 🎬The video is online anyway and when I'm finally free (it's a lie), I will find the time to make my own. I'm not truly free now in the quarantine - knowing me, I always find things to do. But I told myself to really make time for it, because it's important. And so I did 🎞

Yes everyone has different projects, commitments, responsibilities. Everyone is always busy with something. 👩🏻‍💻However, if you don't make time, things are not gonna happen. It's always about your priorities 📝If we really need to visit a close friend, we make time. If we need to buy some eyeliner that's running out, we make time. If there's a performance coming up that needs practice, we make time.

Make time for the things that truly matter instead of putting it aside again and again. Don't keep giving the excuse that you are busy 🤸🏻‍♀️Busy-ness are just things that you fill up your time with ⏰

📌If it's really important to you, somehow you will find the time. No excuses.
